Our window vs. a poor-quality vinyl window
One of the windows we replace the most are poor-quality replacement windows.
• Even in normal temperatures, vinyl
windows can warp, lose whatever energy
efficiency they once had, and invite
drafts and leaks.
• If their seals break and the insulating gas
escapes, your energy efficiency goes out
the window.
• Some poor-quality window frames are so
weak, they have to be thick and bulky to
hold the weight of the glass. A window with
a thinker frame has less glass and less
light will be allowed in your home.
The solution is our Fibrex® material
• We make our Fibrex material is twice as
strong as vinyl.
• Our custom-built replacement window
material is strong enough to help
prevent fogging, icing and drafts.
What is Fibrex?
• We researched our Fibrex® material for
30 years; it’s a composite material made
of wood fibers and a thermo-polymer.
• Unlike wood, Fibrex requires virtually no
maintenance* and it’s twice as strong as
vinyl.
• Choosing a strong window means doing
this job just once.
